WHO’S BEHIND REBEL LAMPS?
“I’ve always been a DESIGNER of all things, passionately obsessed with colors, layouts, textures, light… with McGyver inspired knack for construction, woodwork and power tools 😉
After purchasing a fixer-upper and becoming a mom, I left my 20 year long career in graphic & web design, to pursue my other huge passion: interior design and woodworking.
REBEL lamps collection was inspired by the sign I made for my daughter’s room. Of course it wasn’t so “rebel” at the time 😉 That part became clear years later, when my newly found confidence mixed with parental anxiety and feminist rage blew any restrictions up, and the need to express my feelings became the driving force. A modern take on wood, mixed with neon colors and empowering messaging, and my life is complete ;).
My favorite motto is: DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND THE REST WILL FOLLOW, and I have taken many risks to continue to stay in line with my heart… Fingers crossed that the rest WILL follow 😉
